About Our Video Production Expertise:

Michael Simpson started his career at Columbia College in Hollywood, known as “the filmmaker’s film school,” where he graduated Valedictorian of his class with a BA in Cinema and Television in 1970. From there he began working in Hollywood, the world’s center for the motion picture and television industry, where he gained hands on knowledge and experience working with industry professionals, studios and production companies. His camera credits include iconic films such as Animal House, The Blues Brothers, Big Wednesday, the Cheech and Chong movie Up in Smoke, and many others, as well as hundreds of television shows. He won two Emmy Awards for cinematography, one for Winds of War, with Robert Mitchum, and one for Baretta; the well-known television crime drama in the 1970’s, which he is also credited for writing two scripts for the show.

Michael left Hollywood to launch his own production company, directing and filming commercials, documentaries, and the award winning television show, Fishing Expeditions, which ran for five years on the Outdoor Channel. Fishing Expeditions earned Michael three national Telly awards for outstanding sports programming.
